With a sound deeply rooted in the grooves of house music, Justin Krause (briefly Justin Panik) is a UK-based DJ and producer who has dedicated his career to the dancefloor.
His journey has taken him from the iconic booths of London's EGG to sun-drenched beach parties in Greece, festivals across the USA, and clubs in Spain and Dublin. Specialising in a vibrant and energetic blend of tech, funky, jackin' and deep house, Justin's style is defined by infectious basslines and a relentless energy that has earned him a loyal following and guest mixes on prominent platforms. A true selector, he is just as happy on vinyl spinning classic house and garage jams as he is on the latest CDJs, always focusing on the groove.
While continuing to pour years of dancefloor experience into his own original productions, his live energy is currently channelled into the dynamic tech house duo HERATIKS. The project has seen a busy few months of gigs and is quickly gaining momentum with support from outlets like BBC Introducing with their debut original release "Drop Tha Spot", forthcoming on DT Weapong (Data Transmission) being named "The Sound of The Weekend"!
Whether behind the decks or in the studio, the mission remains the same: to deliver pure, unadulterated house music that moves people.
Guest Mix for FREAK! Ireland
Justin Krause's earliest memories and influences of wanting to DJ came from listening to Radio 1 whilst in his bedroom in Kent - in particular Judge Jules playing a sunset set live from Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza. Another huge impact was Alistair Whitehead and Jeremy Healey's epic Fantazia British Anthems double CD from 1997. Still is one of THE “go-to” feel good mixes.

DJing since the age of 15, other renown names such as Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Toddy Terry, David Morales, Junior Jack, Norman Cook, Arman van Helden, Kenny Dope, Roger Sanchez and the legendary Frankie Knuckles, aswell as many others all played a part in steering Justin's vibe and style.

Currently, Justin is producing and playing as HERATIKS, a duo with James Wiggans. Together they are crafting high-energy tech, bass and deep house. Their tracks, including a free download of "Edge of Saturday Night" by Blessed Madonna and Kylie Minogue has been supported from Miami to Ibiza, are built for peak-time. With releases on DT Weapons & plays on BBC Introducing, HERATIKS is aiming for those BIG festival stages!
